Application 2022 In 2022, you can apply to the MSU-BIT postgraduate program in one of the following two ways:  – remotely by sending in an application form and the attachment to the application form in .doc format to bio@smbu.edu.cn  – remotely via the MSU online platform webanketa.msu.ru (to be filled out completely in the Russian language) o If choosing this option IMPORTANT: Please write the name of the Shenzhen MSU-BIT University in the comment section in three languages (you may copy and paste it from here): ”深圳北理莫斯科大学 Shenzhen MSU-BIT University Университет МГУ-ППИ в Шэньчжэне“ The Faculty of Biology of MSU-BIT receives applications and documents via the bio@smbu.edu.cn email (no paper forms) in .pdf format starting from July, 2022. Documents should be compressed into one .RAR file or .ZIP file, with the title “Applicant’s Name + Program”. These files will be reviewed as the formal application for admission to the University’s Graduate program. Apart from the application form and the attachment to the application form, the following documents need to be forwarded to bio@smbu.edu.cn: 1. Scan of the first page of applicant’s passport. 2. Notarized translation of the first two pages of applicant’s passport to the Russian language (if passport is not already in Russian). 3. Full scan of applicants most high-ranking diploma (not just the main pages, but the insert too). 4. Notarized translation of applicants (full) diploma to the Russian language (if diploma was given out in any other language other than Russian).  If your previous education was not obtained in Russia, your foreign education must be recognized as corresponding to the educational program implemented in the Russian Federation in order to be admitted to Moscow University. The recognition of foreign education and/or qualifications is a prerequisite for admission to Moscow University. Please inform us if this is the case for you. 5. Scan of applicants last Russian visa, if applicable. 6. 3×4 applicant’s photo (in JPEG). 7. Essay / Research proposal in the applicant’s field of specialty (optimally, this text will focus on what the applicant will work on in graduate school), (articles with applicant listed as an author can also be submitted if this decision is approved by their scientific advisor). 8. A review of the applicant’s research proposal by their scientific adviser with a grade on the 5-point scale (optimally, both in Russian and in English) (signed by the scientific advisor) (if applicant does not have a scientific advisor in mind, he or she must contact the admissions committee to be provided with one). List of any other individual achievements (patents, participation in grants, conferences, competitions, scientific events, etc.) Entrance exams Entrance exams will take place between September 1st and September 22nd, 2022, and consist of 3 oral examinations in English: ecology/bioengineering (depending on your specialization), English, philosophy. The schedule of entrance tests will be published beforehand.
