This type of inverse problems arises in a variety of cutting-edge applications including geometric body generation, photo-acoustic tomography, MAD (magnetic anomaly detection) technology, earthquake precursor detection and cosmological exploration. In this talk, I shall discuss the mathematical progress of our study including the modeling, unique identifiability, stability, and numerical reconstruction results, as well as applications. 刘宏宇教授简介： 刘宏宇，香港城市大学数学系教授、副主任，福建省闽江学者。刘宏宇教授的研究领 域为应用数学和计算数学，包括数学物理中的反问题，偏微分方程，超材料和隐形， 散射理论和谱理论，近年来也探讨反散射与仿生学习及人工智能的交叉和结合。在上 述领域取得了一系创新性的研究成果, 在国际高水平学术期刊发表论文 100 余篇，其 中 9 篇论文被相关杂志评为年度亮点论文、特色论文或高被引论文。出版专著 2 部， 主持美国、香港基金项目 17 项。被国内外学术会议邀请作报告 100 余场。刘宏宇教 授于 2007 年在香港中文大学数学系取得博士学位，曾任职于香港浸会大学（20142020，教授，数学系副主任），美国北卡罗来纳大学（2011-2014），英国雷丁大学 （2010/2011），美国华盛顿大学（20017--2010）。刘宏宇教授于 2019 年获香港数学 会 颁 发 的 “Young Scholar Award”; 2017 年 获 国 际 反 问 题 协 会 （ Inverse Problems International Association）颁发的“Calderon Prize”；2016 年国际会议 ICIP16 上获颁 “MediaV Prize”。刘宏宇教授现担任“Inverse Problems and Imaging”等多个国际期刊的 编委，国际反问题协会东亚分会秘书，香港研究资助局会评专家等。 访问学者以及需要做报告的学者请联系 张晔 教授 / Всем желающим выступить с докладами на семинаре просьба обращаться к Чжану Е ye.zhang@smbu.edu.cn
